Waves Along Tynemouth Pier - Coastal Lighthouse Print

Movement travels the length of Tynemouth Pier as waves strike the stone breakwater and send spray upward along the pier edge.

This landscape photograph captures the moment water collides with the pier, surging and falling back into the North Sea while the lighthouse remains fixed in the distance. The strong horizontal lines of the structure lead the eye toward the breaking waves, creating depth and scale without suggesting the lighthouse itself is being overtaken by the sea.
