Penshaw Monument Steps – Box Frame – Ceramic Tile – Gift
Penshaw Monument was built in 1844 in memory of John George Lambton, the first Earl of Durham. Designed by John and Benjamin Green in the form of a Greek Doric temple, it has become one of Wearside's best-known landmarks. Stone steps lead towards the monument's columns beneath a textured, warmly lit sky.
One 11 × 11 inch (28.4 × 28.4 cm) solid white wood box frame, 20 mm wide and 33 mm deep, supplied with a white mount and glass. The frame can be wall mounted or displayed freestanding using the strut on the back.
The 8 × 8 inch ceramic tile in the centre appears to float above the background and is mounted 10 mm from the white backing board.
The item will arrive securely packaged for safe delivery.
