Jesmond Dene Waterfall – Box Frame – Ceramic Tile – Gift
Lord Armstrong shaped Jesmond Dene into a landscaped retreat around the Ouseburn and gave it to Newcastle in 1883. The park opened formally in 1884, preserving a wooded valley where bridges, waterfalls and old mill remains recall its past. This photograph follows the waterfall beneath a stone bridge, framed by trees and the remains of the old mill.
One 11 × 11 inch (28.4 × 28.4 cm) solid white wood box frame, 20 mm wide and 33 mm deep, supplied with a white mount and glass. The frame can be wall mounted or displayed freestanding using the strut on the back.
The 8 × 8 inch ceramic tile in the centre appears to float above the background and is mounted 10 mm from the white backing board.
The item will arrive securely packaged for safe delivery.
