Hylton Castle - North Hylton - Sunderland
Hylton Castle in Sunderland, England was first built in 1066 and underwent renovations in the 14th and 15th centuries. It was the Hylton family's main seat until the 18th century. Now owned by English Heritage, it is surrounded by maintained parkland.
