Gateshead Millennium Bridge – Box Frame – Ceramic Tile – Gift
The Gateshead Millennium Bridge opened to the public in 2001. Designed by WilkinsonEyre and Gifford, its curved deck and arch tilt together to let river traffic pass, adding a distinctive modern crossing to the historic Tyne. The bridge and its reflection form a sweeping curve across still water beneath a softly coloured sky.
One 11 × 11 inch (28.4 × 28.4 cm) solid white wood box frame, 20 mm wide and 33 mm deep, supplied with a white mount and glass. The frame can be wall mounted or displayed freestanding using the strut on the back.
The 8 × 8 inch ceramic tile in the centre appears to float above the background and is mounted 10 mm from the white backing board.
The item will arrive securely packaged for safe delivery.
